Pheasant Court Winery’s story begins in 2001...

Owners Charlie and Marcia Gilson decided that their passion for creating first-rate wines and sharing them with family and friends was quickly growing to include a larger circle of wine enthusiasts. Today, the winery concentrates on producing distinctive big reds and dessert wines made from grapes harvested by small Oregon and Walla Walla, Washington vineyards. The Gilson's sell these distinctive wines through the winery and selected retailers.

Our tasting room  is located on our property in Philomath.  We will be open starting Friday, May 6th and will have our current releases available for tasting.

This tasting season we are starting out the first weekend with the newest release from BFF Cellars, a Walla Walla Cabernet Sauvignon, that will be supporting the programs at Red Feather Ranch in Kings Valley, Oregon.  Red Feather Ranch is a non-profit supporting Women Veterans with emotional and physical support.  Corvallis artist, Carrie Tasman, has done an excellent job designing two special labels for this wine.  The official release party is Saturday, May 7 at 2 pm but the wine will have special release pricing all weekend.

The first weekend of tasting closes on Sunday, May8th - Mother's Day.  Bring Mom out for some wine tasting and don't forget to pack some of your favorite snacks to share with her.

One way to enjoy the wines of the region is to purchase a Heart of Willamette Wineries Passport.  This year they are $40/each of 2 for $75.  There are a couple new sites and always great wineries to go and explore.
