PCW  2010  “Reserve” Marechal Foch,  Meadows’ Vineyard, W.V. AVA   $15
This is our Blockbuster Foch!  The wine is barrel aged in 100% new American oak, typically for 2 or more years.  The wine is brimming with berry, especially blackberry, flavors and intense spice notes from the new wood.  A unique characteristic of Foch among “big” reds is the very smooth, non-tannic finish.  Pairs wonderfully with heavy meat dishes and stews. 7.4 g/L TA, 4.13 pH, 13.27% ABV

PCW  2011  “Reserve”  Syrah,  Carpenter Hill Vineyard, Rogue AVA    $20
This Reserve Syrah comes from our Southern Oregon grower Carpenter Hill Vineyard.  The Reserve is a Barrel Selection. Each Syrah vintage undergoes a blending “trial” after ~18 months aging and if a group of barrels stands out they go into the Reserve bottling. The wine has big and rich dark cherry flavor accompanied by firm acid and tannins. The long finish exhibits spice, oak and a bit of Rhone style Syrah pepper. 6.7 g/L TA, 3.76 pH, 14.9% ABV

PCW  2010  Marechal Foch PORT,  Meadows’ Vineyard, W.V. AVA    $20
Marechal Foch makes a great Port! The wine was fortified to ~20% ABV to arrest the fermentation and leave 3.8% Residual Sugar. The resulting sweet wine was then barrel aged for 5 years in new American oak, tight bunged without topping. This gives it a Tawny Port character with amber color, a brown sugar, caramel, and spice nose, and flavors of warmth, caramel, maple syrup and spice. 5.1 g/L TA, 4.10 pH, 20% ABV, 38.0 g/L sugar (3.8% RS)

PCW  2006  VICE Viognier Dessert Wine, Plagmann Farms, W.V. AVA   $20
This is a Viognier made Ice Wine “style”, hence VICE. Our fruit was “post harvest frozen” and as such, the wine cannot be “labeled” as Ice Wine, but once frozen it is made exactly the same way. The wine was very slowly fermented, then aged, in stainless steel. After extended maturation it was bottled in 2013 having developed a beautiful dark gold hue. It shows intense flavors of raw honey, nugget, and nuts. The wine is a wonderful dessert on its own but is also glorious over ice cream, tarts, pie, etc. 14.5% ABV, 9.5% RS
